This mare has been used for Trail riding, Barrel racing, Gymkhana, Team Penning and more.
She loads in a trailer, stands for the Vet & Shoer and walks through water with no problems. We have rode her in the Mountains, Desert, locally and around town. Indy is such a sweet horse. He loves attention and people. He's very friendly and always willing to please. He has been ponied through the Colorado Rockies, crossing water, hills, cows, wildlife. Nothing seems to bother him. He's had a very gentle and kind upbringing and it shows in his temperament. He's green broke, and will be very easy to finish. He has been started under saddle and loves it. During his second ride ever, he went on a trail ride and was perfect. He is not spooky and just has a great attitude. Indy deserves a kind loving home. Snickers is a beautiful tri color paint with a great temperament. He is easy to work with and loves attention. We have done minimal saddle training with him because we thought he was sold. The sale fell through so we are offering him again. His Dam and his full brother are EXCELLENT jumpers, his full brother cleared a 6 foot fence like it was a walk in the park, his mother jumped a 5 foot fence 3 weeks before she delivered him! He probably would too with a little encouragement, we are not into the jumping events so we have never tried to get him to jump. I am looking for a horse at low or no cost. I will provide a loving, secure and safe home. I have many years of experience but would like a calm, gentle horse that is rideable. Ideally between 10 and 18 yrs old. Gelding or mare, no specific breed in mind. I have 5 acres and am home full time. My 24 yr old mare is retired, my first horse lived to age 25 and was with me from age two. if you have a horse you need to rehome or know someone that does, please keep me in mind.
