2004 bay overo Paint stallion, 14.2 h. Double registered APHA and APPR (American Paint Pony Registry) Sells with current papers for both registries. Or can be gelded and would make a very nice driving horse or be put back under saddle. He was shown locally in Halter classes as a 2 yr old, was trained under saddle as a 4 yr old and in his recent years has been learning how to line drive to pull a cart. Can be led and tied with just a lead rope. Leads, ties, trims, loads, good on fences and has been pastured with mares and geldings (geldings would be case by case) Money has sired 8 foals, all with color. Money does carry one copy of the sabino gene and has one blue eye. He has been tested and is OLWS n/o (means he would have 25% chance of throwing lethal white foal when crossed with another OLWS carrier). Moving and only keeping one horse. His April 2012 sorrel overo gelding is also available for sale.

Trick is a 5 yo 14 1/2 hand bay quarter pony with a big star. Trick is an absolute sweetheart and tries very hard for his rider. This quiet, handsome guy has the build and movement for the hunter ring, but may also excel as a 4H, pony club, foxhunt, or event pony. He has a nice big sweeping trot and round canter, and has been started over fences and grid work. He’s sane and sound, goes barefoot, no bad habits or vices, and is an easy keeper. He does well in the ring or out and about cross country. Trick stands for vet, farrier, dentist, bathing, mane pulling, and clipping. He trailers beautifully and both head ties and cross ties. He attended his very first show recently and was an absolute gem and a joy to be around. This quiet sweet guy needs a quiet, steady rider to continue to bring him along. His try hard nature would likely be ideal for a quiet older child with a trainer or small teen to bring along. He is up to date with coggins/farrier/teeth/vaccines $2000 obo

Bear - "Struck By Lightening" is an almost 7 yo flashy Chincoteague Pony out of Lightning of Chinc. & Misty’s Chance Of Rain. Foaled Oct 4th, 2005. He is such a sweetheart, great ground manners! He has some show miles on him, is a very easy keeper, healthy, loads easy, great for farrier/dentist, up to date with everything. Stands 13.2hh, He is not a beginner’s pony in the ring because he has a fast little trot and is very quick to the jumps. EXTREMELY Hardy, we do not blanket him in the winter. He gets along great with others in the field. He could go from a back yard pony to a show pony! Absolute sweetheart. A good home is a must, he LOVES to be pampered! Stands like an angel! Would be a wonderful backyard pet that you jump on and ride bareback around…We did put front shoes on him as felt it needed with jumping him – but he went years withOUT so I think they could be taken off if he wasn’t used in this fashion. $900

This little guy is a looker. Looks just like his sire Calico Kid He is just about 2 months old now. He will be weened & ready to go mid August. I will post a picture of him, but if you want more I can email. In this picture he is only about 1 month. Not many of these ponies in California. We are in the Lake Isabella area near Bakersfield, Ca. Bailey, will be great for stallion service or gelded & trained for anyone. I have used these ponies in Gymkhana, trail riding, cow work,halter, & pleasure. There isnt anything they cant do. Would be a great project for a family to raise one of these. If you are not aware there are 5 childrens books & 1 movie made on these ponies lives. Just look up Misty Of Chincoteague. There is a great story on them.

Banner Queen's Desert Star. Beautiful purebred Chincoteague gelding. Dam and sire are from the pony swim and are on the ranch.
Star is an outgoing, rock solid gelding. Foaled March 22, 2010. He is easy to work with and loves people. He is 13.2 hands, but may still grow and fill out a bit. Star would make an excellent sport pony. These ponies have beautiful floating gaits and kind temperaments. Star is a gorgeous dappled bay with two hind socks and of course the Star. His grandfather is the well known Ocean Star on Assateague Island.
Star is available to an experienced, great home only. Delivery may be available.
